JAPANESE LANGUAGE COURSES have been organized at the University of Economics and Business since 2006 in cooperation with ICEA (International Cross-cultural Exchange Association). This organization works with volunteer teachers who want to spread Japanese language and culture around the world. Every teacher undergoes extensive training in teaching Japanese as a foreign language. For each of them, going abroad to teach Japanese culture enthusiasts is a great personal experience and an important stage in their career.
All teachers speak English, which is the main medium of communication at the beginning of learning.
The most advanced learners can take the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test, organized by the Japan Foundation. The exam takes place once a year on the first Sunday in December at the Japanese Embassy in Warsaw. It consists of four levels.
